Welcome to Kenya House, in the heart of Hopewell Valley, New Jersey.
Kenya House is a place to gather with friends, colleagues, and community members to network, share ideas, and put them into action. Kenya House will work to further efforts between Kenya and the United States to participate in meaningful, educational, and cultural exchange programs, so as to build global bridges of understanding.
Enjoy good food and participate in the Kenya Experience (minus the cost of airfare or distant travel!) Kick off your shoes and slide into comfortable slippers or socks as you dine in a relaxed atmosphere -- and also support Kenyan projects that improve the lives of people in the villages.
Visitors to Kenya House will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Kenyan culture by sampling Kenyan cuisine, hearing the Swahili language spoken, listening to Kenyan music, and socializing in a modern-style Kenyan home.

Sutinder and Nirpal both grew up in Kenya, and maintained a strong connection and love for Kenya. Dr. Angwenyi is the founder of Global Connections Kenya and has led several Kenya-related initiatives, particularly the Kenya Experience trip. Ellyn Ito is the founder of Seeds to Sew International, a non-profit organization with the mission of improving the lives of women and girls in disadvantaged communities through education and job skills training.
Join the Kenya Summer Experience
Global Connections Kenya organizes the unique and incredible Kenya Experience Programs during the summer months, providing an opportunity for students, adults, as well as community leaders from America and Kenya to experience first-hand lessons of each other's world unfiltered. The Kenya Experience provides young people an opportunity to find ways to make the world nicer by doing ordinary things in an extraordinary way. Global Connections Kenya has taken many groups of students to Kenya since 2007 thus affording them the privilege of foreign travel and service learning. This is a life changing experience that broadens students perspectives. Join us today!
